Download Autopen for Mac.

Sign in with an invited Autopen account to download the Apple-silicon installer directly from this protected page. The Mac app brings the Windows workspace to macOS, including microphone and system-audio capture, live and final transcripts, notes, Ask, search, organization, export, sync, and managed controls.

Mac release boundary: only a hardened-runtime build signed with Autopen’s Developer ID and accepted by Apple’s automated notarization service is eligible for download here. macOS will separately ask for Microphone and Screen & System Audio Recording access when those features are first used.

The signed-in panel displays the exact version, SHA-256, byte size, and source commit for the current Apple-silicon DMG.

Install normally

Open the DMG and drag Autopen to Applications. The app should identify Quiet Eye Group’s Developer ID and pass Gatekeeper without asking you to weaken Mac security.

Verify integrity

Run shasum -a 256 on the downloaded DMG and compare it with the exact value shown above before opening it.

Grant narrow access

Microphone access captures you. Screen & System Audio Recording captures meeting audio; Autopen does not consume or save screen frames.

First test pass

Use a short synthetic meeting first.

  • Launch from Applications, sign in, sign out, and sign in again.
  • Record a short disposable call and confirm both You and System Audio meters move.
  • Review live captions, the final speaker-attributed transcript, and structured notes.
  • Exercise Ask with citations, search, folders, flagging, Trash, and permitted exports.
  • Close and reopen Autopen and confirm the same workspace synchronizes on another device.
  • Report permission, Gatekeeper, policy, or meeting-detection behavior without sending content.
